Pluto TV is a pioneering free ad-supported streaming television (FAST) platform that offers viewers access to over 250 live linear channels and thousands of on-demand movies and TV shows at no cost. Launched in 2014, the service quickly established itself as a leader in the emerging FAST category by replicating the familiar experience of traditional cable TV — complete with channel surfing and scheduled programming — but delivered entirely over the internet and monetized through advertising rather than subscriptions.
