Zoho Reports was a cloud-based business intelligence and reporting tool developed by Zoho Corporation that allowed businesses to analyze data, create visualizations, and generate reports. Launched in the mid-2000s as part of Zoho's expanding suite of business applications, it provided self-service analytics capabilities for small to medium-sized businesses and departments within larger organizations. The platform enabled users to connect to multiple data sources, create custom reports, and share interactive dashboards without requiring extensive technical expertise. Zoho Reports operated as a standalone product within the Zoho ecosystem for over a decade, serving customers who needed affordable, accessible business intelligence tools. It competed in the growing self-service BI market alongside tools like Tableau, Power BI, and Google Data Studio. The platform was particularly popular among Zoho's existing customer base who used other Zoho applications like CRM, Books, and Projects. In 2021, Zoho Corporation rebranded Zoho Reports as Zoho Analytics, marking the end of the Zoho Reports brand. This was not a shutdown but rather an evolution and expansion of the product's capabilities under a new name. The rebranding reflected Zoho's strategy to position the tool as a more comprehensive analytics platform with enhanced features including augmented analytics, AI-powered insights, and deeper integrations across the Zoho suite. Existing Zoho Reports customers were migrated to Zoho Analytics, and the Reports brand was discontinued.
