Yomiko Advertising Inc. (株式会社読売広告社, "Yomiuri Advertising Company") is a Tokyo-based full-service advertising and integrated-marketing agency. It traces its operating history to 1929 (as Yamamoto Shinkōsha) and was incorporated under its current name in 1946. Since the October 2003 formation of Hakuhodo DY Holdings, Yomiko has been a wholly-owned consolidated subsidiary of that group — one of its three core agency brands with Hakuhodo and Daiko. The "Yomiuri" in its name reflects its origins buying advertising space in the Yomiuri Shimbun, but it has no capital relationship with the Yomiuri Shimbun Holdings group, and it is not affiliated with Recruit Holdings. The agency offers integrated marketing across consulting, digital, creative, activation, media and PR, with particular depth in real estate, entertainment/anime, and community marketing.
