Walmart acquires Vibe.co

Vibe.co (legally "Vibe") is a self-serve connected-TV advertising platform founded in 2022 by Arthur Querou (CEO, previously founder of MotionLead) and Franck Tetzlaff (CTO, previously co-founder of Doctolib). French-founded with a US commercial headquarters in New York City, Vibe positions itself as "the Google Ads of streaming," giving small and mid-market advertisers a fast, self-serve way to buy, optimize, and measure CTV/streaming-TV ads the way they run paid social. The company raised roughly $79.5M across a $7M seed (2022), a $22.5M Series A (Feb 2024, led by Singular), and a $50M Series B (Sept 2025, led by Hedosophia at a $410M valuation), reaching ~$100M ARR within about two years. On June 23, 2026, Walmart announced an agreement to acquire Vibe.co — reportedly ~$1.4B per The Wall Street Journal (~$1.2B cash plus ~$180M executive retention; Walmart did not disclose terms). The deal folds Vibe into Walmart Connect, complementing the VIZIO acquisition and a Magnite partnership, and is expected to close by the end of Walmart's fiscal year 2027, subject to HSR antitrust clearance. Founders Querou and Tetzlaff are expected to join Walmart Connect.
