About
Mid-tier marketing automation provider for B2B companies before acquisition
Salesfusion was a marketing automation software company that provided integrated solutions for B2B marketing and sales teams. The platform offered email marketing, lead scoring, campaign management, and CRM integration capabilities specifically tailored for small to mid-sized businesses. Founded in 2008, Salesfusion positioned itself as an affordable alternative to enterprise-level marketing automation platforms, focusing on ease of use and quick implementation. In 2016, Salesfusion was acquired by SugarCRM, which integrated its marketing automation capabilities into the Sugar platform. Following the acquisition, the Salesfusion brand was gradually phased out as its technology was absorbed into SugarCRM's product suite, particularly into what became known as Sugar Market. The acquisition allowed SugarCRM to offer a more comprehensive customer relationship management solution with built-in marketing automation features, effectively ending Salesfusion's existence as a standalone product.
