By premiering Ziwe, Brave Wildnerness projects at TIFF, YouTube moves closer to film and TV

Creators are filling multiplexes and earning Emmy nominations, and now, they're getting their own film festival premieres, too. At the upcoming Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF), a premiere hosted by YouTube and Variety will highlight new work from creators like Mark Vins (of Brave Wilderness fame) and Ziwe. The 2026 edition of TIFF will begin on September 10. On that date, YouTube and Variety will throw a party to kick off The Market, TIFF's content marketplace. Vins will take that opportunity to screen Reef To Ridge, a documentary centered around an expedition to the Galapagos Islands.
