Anthropic files for Nasdaq IPO

Anthropic, the maker of the Claude AI models, publicly filed a Form S-1 registration statement with the SEC on October 26, 2026 for a proposed initial public offering of its Class A common stock. It plans to list on the Nasdaq Global Select Market under the ticker ANT; the number of shares and the price range were not yet set. The filing reported revenue of $16.3 billion in the first half of 2026 and a net loss of about $80 billion through June, mostly from accounting charges. Anthropic had submitted a confidential draft filing in June 2026.
