FireEye

FireEye was a publicly traded cybersecurity company specializing in threat intelligence and incident response (founded 2004, acquired Mandiant 2014 for $1B). In June 2021, FireEye sold its products business to Symphony Technology Group (which became Trellix). The remaining threat-intel and consulting business (the original Mandiant unit) renamed itself Mandiant in October 2021. Mandiant was then acquired by Google for $5.4B in September 2022 and now operates as part of Google Cloud Security. FireEye as a standalone brand is retired.
